The Cheetahs secured a 45-0 win against the Kings at home tonight. They dominated the Kings upfront for the first twenty minutes but unfortunately, the rest of a game was mmmmmmmm not nice. With this win, they cemented their third place in Pool A with only five points behind second-placed Ulster.

During the first twenty minutes of the first half, the Cheetahs made sure that they controlled the physicality of the game, which resulted in two forward tries to take an early lead of 12-0.

The Southern Kings slowly clawed their way back in the game and spent the last 10 minutes of the first half in the twenty-two of the Cheetahs but could not convert that advantage into points. The Cheetahs ended the first half with a 17-0 lead.

The first twenty minutes of the second half was a comedy of errors with each player opting to rather impress his mother in law rather than offloading the ball when necessary. Fortunately, the try of Jasper Wiese gave the spectators something to celebrate. His try gave the Cheetahs a 24-0 lead after 60 minutes on the clock.

The last twenty minutes the Cheetahs started to play the rugby they are famous for and scored a further three tries to win 45-0.
