Free State Looked Rusty In Their First Loss Ever To Zebre.

The Toyota Cheetahs lost their first match ever against Zebre with 41-13 after trailing 8-20 at half time. The five weeks of "rest" showed, with the Cheetahs struggling to contain the Zebre team who won two of their last three games. They won 36-25 against BenettonĀ  two weeks ago in their previous game.

Apart from taking the lead with the unconverted try by Wilmar Arnoldi in the seventh minute of the match, the Cheetahs had to play catchup rugby the rest of the match. Zebre outscored five tries to the two scored by Cheetahs.

The Cheetahs lost their 4th place in Conference A as the Dragons won their match against the Ospreys with 25-18 today and moved into the final play-off place on the log.
